Early registration deadline April 1, 2003. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.
To register via fax or mail, download attached registration form.

Presenting authors must enter their abstract number as first item on the registration field labeled "Notes / Billing Address". Non-presenting co-authors should NOT used the abstract number. Authors presenting a poster should also use their abstract number when registering. (This abstract number was contained in the subject line of the email that notified authors of their acceptance of abstracts.)
All attendees, including those presenting papers or posters, must pay the registration fee.
The Conference Registration fee includes:

  • Meals - Monday: breakfast, lunch, dinner; Tuesday: breakfast, lunch, dinner; Wednesday: breakfast, morning break
  • Evening events - Sunday evening reception, BBQ dinner on Monday night, and Henry Ford Museum and dinner on Tuesday night
  • Book of Abstracts

NOTE: Due to the variety of options for accommodations, the conference registration fee does not include hotel. Please make your own reservations using the suggested hotels in the accommodations section. Rates range from $40 to $140 per night. If you are traveling by air, please see the transportation section for details on the 5 - 15% discount we have arranged with Northwest/KLM Airlines.

Cancellation Policy:
Participants may cancel their registration prior to June 12, 2003, less a $35 USD processing fee. Cancellations after June 12, 2003 will not be refunded.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships were made available to cover registration fees and modest accommodations (e.g. dorm room). Priority was given to students and participants from developing (non-OECD) countries that will present a paper or participate in the poster session. Scholarship awards cannot apply to guest fees!

When registering, select the 'Scholarship Code' button and enter your assigned scholarship code in the adjacent field. If you are also using a credit card to pay for items not covered by the scholarship (such as workshop fees or guest fees), enter the credit card number in the 'Notes/Billing Address' field and state the purpose and amounts to be charged to the card. Also complete the fields for expiration date, cardholder name.
