CALL FOR PAPERS

 

The IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference (PESC) is an annual international conference that provides a forum for research results, which advance fundamentals and principles of power electronics technologies. PESC includes: technical sessions, tutorials, and informal discussion sessions. PESC08 will be held at Sofitel Chapsis hotel and convention center in the island of Rhodes, Greece.  The island of Rhodes is considered to be one of the most popular summer resorts of Europe and can be reached by airplane from all over the world. The island of Rhodes is situated at the cross roads of two major sea routes of the Mediterranean between the Aegean Sea and the coast of the Middle East. The Sofitel Chapsis hotel and convention center is a 5-star hotel located 5 minutes from the city of Rhodes and 15 minutes from Rhodes International Airport.

Design, control, analysis, modelling, of power electronics systems, power converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC, AC-AC), motor drives and components, semiconductor devices and technologies, magnetic devices and materials, energy storage elements, power quality and utility interface issues, aerospace power applications, intelligent systems, integration and packaging, distributed generation and renewable energy systems, emerging power electronics technologies, and all other aspects of the field.
