Call for Papers
Fifth European Space Power Conference
21-25 September 1998
Tarragona, Spain

European Space Agency (ESA)

In cooperation with

Aims of the Conference

The European Space Power Conference (ESPC) wishes to invite papers for the 1998 conference, which will be located in Tarragona (Catalonia).

The Fifth European Space Power Conference follows the success of the 1995 Poitiers, 1989 Madrid, 1991 Florence and 1993 Graz conferences which brought together two highly successful series of technical forums previously sponsored by the European Space Agency, namely the Spacecraft Power Conditioning Seminar and the Photovoltaic Generators in Space Symposium.

The Tarragona 1998 conference offers the exciting prospect of embracing many aspects directly related to spacecraft power systems within a single event. The emphasis will be to generate a general awareness in all the participants of the interactive nature of their specific disciplines.

The topics covered will include power systems, Photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, power conditioning and distribution, high voltage conversion and related design technology.

On this occasion, the espc will be cosponsored by Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Tarragona.
