Deadline for Submission of Abstract and Digest is July 25, 1997

Authors Notified by September 25, 1997

Final Manuscripts due to printer, November 14, 1997

Preparation of Abstracts and Digests: Prospective authors of technical papers and professional education seminars are asked to submit a 50-word Abstract and a three- to five-page Digest (plus figures, tables and references) of their planned presentation. Both Abstract and Digest should be typed and double-spaced on 8 1/2" x 11" (A4 size) paper. All authors should obtain company and governmental clearance prior to submission of Abstracts and Digests.

The heading of the Abstract must include: Title of the Presentation, Author(s), Affiliation(s), and the Mailing address, Telephone, and Fax of the Corresponding Author. The heading of the Digest should include the Title only with no authors or affiliations. The Digest should clearly state:

1. The purpose of the work;

2. The contribution of the work;

3. The methods used; and

4. The specific results of the work.

Eight copies (8) of the Abstract and Digest (originals are not required) should be mailed for receipt by July 25, 1997 to:

APEC'98

2000 L Street, NW

Suite 710

Washington, DC 20036

Papers submitted for consideration will be subjected to a peer review process. The principal criterion in reviewing papers for acceptance will be the usefulness of the presentation to the practicing power electronics professional.

In cases of multiple authors, the Corresponding Author must by clearly identified, with mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address if available. Corresponding authors will be notified of acceptance by September 25, 1997. Manuscripts which include figures, tables and references are due in final form by November 14, 1997, for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Late papers will not be published or presented. Finished manuscripts which exceed seven pages will be subject to publication page charges.
