The INTELEC FELLOWSHIP for graduate students.
The PELS William E. Newell Award is given annually for outstanding career contributions to the power electronics field.
The PELS Distinguished Service Award is given annually to honor long and distinguished service to the welfare of the Power Electronics Society at an exceptional level of dedication and achievement.
The PELS Richard M. Bass Young Power Electronics Engineer Award is conferred annually to a member under the age of 35 for extraordinary achievement in the field.
The PELS Prize Paper Award is awarded annually to three papers published in the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
PELS also nominates its members for IEEE awards and for recognition as IEEE as IEEE Fellows.
