LOCATION

The Hyatt Regency Dallas is conveniently located in downtown Dallas, adjacent to the landmark 50-story Reunion Tower, and within walking distance or a short train ride to Dallas Convention Center, the historic West End entertainment district which features a variety of restaurants and shops, the Kennedy Museum, and is just four blocks from the downtown business center.

FACILITIES

Facilities at Hyatt Regency Dallas include a Fitness Center, which is complementary for hotel guests, with a wide range of equipment for a complete, healthy workout. The Business Center in the hotel is also available to assist guests with any business needs. Hyatt Reunion Tower features a rooftop revolving restaurant and lounge, plus an observation deck. TRANSPORTATION

Ground transportation is available between the airport and the hotel through Super Shuttle. Reservations can be made by calling 800-BLUE VAN (258-3826). It is also possible to take a short bus ride from the airport to connect with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Light Rail system as shown. The DART Light Rail system also provides a convenient method of getting to the West End entertainment district and nearby shopping malls. CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES

Registration is directly across from the front desk at the Pegasus Ballroom. Both Sunday and Monday Tutorials and paper presentations constituting the Technical program will be held in the Landmark Ballroom on the Lobby Level of the hotel, across from the front desk.
The Demonstrations and coffee break area will be in Marsalis Hall, directly below the Landmark Ballroom, on the Exhibition level.
The Tuesday Poster reception will be held in Union Station, which is connected by tunnel to the hotel.

COMPANIONS' PROGRAM

The IRPS, is again, pleased to offer a Companions' Tour Program. In addition there will be a Hospitality Suite, for spouses and guests of IRPS attendees, open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

SUNDAY/MONDAY TUTORIAL SESSIONS

Take advantage of the more than 20 tutorial sessions to be held this year! For those who are new to the field of reliability, the Sunday tutorial sessions are designed to provide an introduction to various reliability topics of interest. The Monday tutorial sessions are designed to provide the experienced engineer with an opportunity to hear about new developments, exchange technical viewpoints, and broaden his/her technical skills with a variety of tutorials. Both the Sunday and Monday tutorial sessions will be held in Landmark Ballroom which is located on the lobby level of the hotel.

MONDAY EVENING - EXHIBITIONS PROGRAM RECEPTION

Support the equipment demonstrators, and exhibitors, who support the IRPS by attending a hosted reception in Marsalis Hall on the Exhibition Level from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meet with the vendors to get a sneak preview of each company's latest tools. Utilize this access to your advantage by signing up for preferential one-on-one consultation times with the vendors of your choice. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.

TUESDAY EVENING - POSTER SESSION AND AWARDS RECEPTION

Make plans to attend the poster session and awards reception which will feature 2000 Nobel Prize laureate Jack Kilby and the presentation of the awards for the 2001 IRPS Best and Outstanding papers. Please come to congratulate these authors as well as discuss the poster papers that will also be presented. This reception will be held in Union Station from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and will include light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

WEDNESDAY EVENING - WORKSHOPS

Participate in any one of the Wednesday Night Workshops which cover a range of reliability topics of current interest. See who's moderating/signed-up to attend and send any questions you might pose to stimulate discussion for posting at our website: http://www.irps.org/ws. This is your chance to ask tough questions and challenge experts in the field! The workshops will be held in various rooms on the Atrium level from 7:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Exact room assignments will be provided on-site.
