| QUALITY | All substrates are manufactured in traceable lots with documentation of all materials and process
parameters used. Statistical process control throughout all major manufacturing steps and application related tests of wirebondability and solderability result in close to zero defect deliveries. Thermal shock cycling and other reliability tests are carried out according to industrial, automotive and military standards. We have preferred supplier status to most international power semiconductor and automotive electronics manufac-turers. |

| PRICES | In the beginning, Curamik ® electronics did not have the luxury of defense contracts which would have made it possible to develop complex products in small quantities at high prices. Nor did we have the customers willing to run one product in huge quantities for several years without redesign. Instead, our customers asked for medium to high quantities with the possibility of flexible redesign without high tooling charges at competitive prices. Prestamping of copper and automatic single piece processing could not be considered. This is why we developed multiple-up master card processing. It gives us and our customers flexibility and cost advantages which cannot be achieved with any other production method. It results in the best quality available at the most competitive price worldwide. |

| DELIVERY | Fast and flexible delivery has been one of our priorities from the beginning. Because fast deliveries are
extremely important in samples and prototyping, our prototyping department is a separate operation within
the company, with its own manufacturing equipment. This means that prototypes can be made within a few
days if necessary. Changing customer requirements are handled with very fast response times and short volume production turn-arounds. We have found that this is necessary to make you a satisfied customer. |

Every year many million substrates are supplied to high volume users throughout the world.
